The Document Attachment Field allows documents to be added to a form by an end user. For this field there are some additional setup tasks required to make it function.

Setup requirements:

In IBM BAW, you need to add the Content Management Toolkit to your process application.

You will also need to add the local folder to store document attachments. You can do this by opening the Process that you want to add a document control to, going to the Folders tab, and then checking the Allow locally managed documents option.

Discovering the Document Attachment Field from an IBM BAW Process (Generate Forms method):

In IBM BAW, create a Variable in the process to store the document and then select the Variable Type ECMID from the Content Management Toolkit.

Add the Variable to the Data Mapping for the Inline User Task.

In the Apex Forms Deign App, generate either the individual form or all of the forms for the process. This will use the Data Mapping from IBM BAW to add the Document Attachment Field to the Form.
