Sometimes you just change your mind. Sometimes circumstances change. As with all things, change is inevitable, but it doesn't have to be hard. Here are a few real world examples for why you need to make a change and how to make it.

After carefully constructing a new form based on the criteria provided you by subject matter experts and end users, they reviewed your finished masterpiece and decided (sometimes willy nilly) that they wanted something different than they originally told you. In the real world we call this agile development and it is a real part of the process.

You generated your forms from a BAW process and the default field was not quite what you intended. You really wanted a checkbox instead of a set of radio buttons. This happens. We did our best to make educated guesses at what fields you wanted on your form, but you are the master and designer. Make it be your own! (No code customization helps make your vision come true.)
-
The section or field you were using was renamed or deleted and now shows up on the content pane with a red warning indicator. This happens too. Especially when you are changing a section or field on one form and that same section or field is used on multiple forms. You need to make the updates!
How Do I Replace a Field or Section?
This is the quick and easy part...
In the Form or Section, right-click the item that you want to replace and select "Replace". Select the section or field that you want to replace it with.
